Marlene was the kindest most giving woman I know. I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. She always seemed to find the positive side of any person or story. She is responsible for the kind, loving, giving husband that I have spent my life with because of the way she raised her son. I will miss her greatly as she takes her place with the angels. She definitely was an Angel. love you, Mom.
#3My fondest Memory of Marlene —

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Pearson family about the passing of Marlene. I will always remember when I was 9 years old and a neighbors dog bit my hand and couldn’t get ahold of my parents. The person I called to help me was Marlene. She came over and took me to the hospital, she smiled and told me everything is going to be alright. She was so caring of others. You will be missed! Love, George Pearson and Family
Mom, you were the best thing this little Indian boy didn't even know he needed. At the age of 3, we met. From that day on you became my mother. You were the strongest, most caring and loving person I know. You showed me what family meant and to always cherish it. You, dad, Jerry and Gary all welcomed me with open arms and I became your son. You were my first friend and taught me what friendship meant. We grew into a family, then you taught me what family meant. Love, compassion, honesty, caring and so much more that you will never know. I am the person I am today because of you and the rest of the family. You were the biggest supporter for all of us boys no matter what it was, and you always cheered us on and celebrated our victories, and rubbed our wounds when we were defeated, but you were always there to pick us back up and push us forward to try again. You were our biggest fan. You generous and giving to everybody and quick to forgive others for there mistakes. I am the man I am today because of you and I cannot thank you enough for the life I have. To my mom, my friend, my mentor, my hero, for the rest of my time left here, I will miss you dearly and I will always love you. Good bye mom. Love Billy
My mother Marlene (a.k.a. MENA) was a loving, giving person. She always gave more than she received, donating much of her time and resources to her local church and those in need. She made dolls by hand for kids because when she was young her family was too poor to exchange gifts. So when she got older she made it her mission to make dolls for other needy children. There were other things she made too, like quilts and winter attire that she donated to the poor and homeless. My mother provided many happy memories throughout my life, family meant so much to her. When I joined the Cub Scouts she became a Den Mother. When I played in Little League baseball she was there to cheer me on every chance she got. She always made the holidays a happy time to remember, putting much time and effort into the big meal and the thoughtful gifts she gave. When I failed at life she lifted me up, when I was sad she cheered me, and when things seemed hopeless she was sure things would get better. She was always proud of me despite my enormous failings, she chose to see the best in me even when I hated myself. In short, she's exactly the kind of person you want in your life, someone who loves you unconditionally and does everything with your best interest at heart. I realize now that she was my best friend in life. I'm sure she knows I love her and that I appreciate everything she did for me. Good bye mom, love always, and may you rest in peace.
