This Valentine poem was written by Marlene's husband Gerald. I don't know the year, but most likely 1953
My husband Mark along with our kids, Teddy and Kallyanne lived next door to Marlene and Jerry for MANY years! Mark and I moved to Arizona and I would visit Marlene whenever possible. My granddaughter would visit with me.
Marlene loved to play with our kids and also my granddaughter!
Marlene made and gave my granddaughter 2 different dolls at 2 different times!
So cute!
My granddaughter LOVED the dolls!
We loved visiting and catching up on each others happenings!
Mark and me, Mindy, with Marlene on a visit to Minnesota!
I loved visiting with the neighbor ladies and Marlene always had fresh baked goods and coffee! When we lived next door, she would bake treats for us often! Marlene and Jerry were wonderful neighbors!
I will miss these visits terribly!

Here's some of the toys Bill and I donated to Sharing and Caring Hands in my mother's name. There were more toys in addition to these but hadn't arrived yet from Amazon. My mother would be very happy knowing kids were getting these toys.
