This is sad, to discover Rory has gone. I knew Stan & Rory back in the day when I worked at Campus Camera. Dinner at the Halperin's. Rory's infectious Earth Mama personality. The Dietrichs. I remember a conversation with Rory, mentioning that I went to Berendo Jr. High, and mentioned a nearby Italian pizza place on Vermont - Rory knew that place and recalled how she ate there and berated the owner for making bad Americanized pizza unlike from the old country. The owner then made her a proper pizza, grateful for meeting a customer who knew the difference. That was Rory - no BS. I wish I had kept in touch with her. But I'm glad to have known her if only for a short while.
