I had Mrs. Verner for History, and her roommate - Gloria Hue for Shorthand. Likely in 1971 and 1972 a group of us would go to their apartment off of 176th on Friday nights. You would think they would be tired of seeing us after 5 days of School - but they were so kind to us, we were good kids, and everyone to this day is a good person - so their thoughtfulness to (us highschoolers) will always be appreciated.
