Recently, while walking on the greenbelt, I learned of Inger's passing when I saw the tribute bench in her memory. When I think of Inger, many words come to mind, including: kind, caring, supportive, accepting, pragmatic, thoughtful, strong, straightforward, collaborative, appreciative, natural, and family-loving. I enjoyed and appreciated her quiet sense of humor and beautiful smile. She enriched the lives of many people and will always be missed. My deepest condolences to the Lonnerdal family.

I was very sad to read about Inger, and am very sorry you, her family, and all of us, have lost her. She was a wonderful mother (when I was the teacher!) and a smart and friendly and interesting person. I send Bo and Daniel and Jan my sincere condolences.
Nate, Mick and Pam Petersen want to send our sympathies to the Lonnerdal family. Inger was a bright light! A selfless advocate for many causes. We will miss her at the Team Davis events. She always gave a healthy pour of wine! May God bless all of you!
#3Tribute to Inger —

When I think of Inger, it is her smile I remember most. I can't think of a time that she didn't brighten a space with her smile and laugh. I loved talking with Inger at Special Olympics events, community activities, music or art venues, or when just randomly running into her in Davis. Her amazing family is a testament to the love she shared and the model she provided. She was also fierce and funny and fit! I miss her dearly.
We are missing Inger so much. What a wonderful wife, mother, and involved member of our Davis community! Inger was so supportive of our community members with intellectual and developmental disabilities and was an advocate for getting families to participate in Team Davis, Adaptive Recreation, and other local activities. She led an admirable, active and full life. I believe she is the one who got me into kayaking! I can still see the constant smile that was on her face as she engaged in conversations with her family and many friends.
I have such fond memories of inger from going to school with Jan. Specifically a project where we had to go to the store, purchase items and go back and prepare a meal together for class. We did this with her and a group of students at her home. It just always stuck with me. Gentle kind and wonderfully supportive mother.
