Srikanth Hari
#13 my heartful condolences and tribute / Vittal Srinivasan (first cousin )Srikanth Hari 2016-08-02 09:46
My brothers had more interaction than myself with Mr. Hari. My clear memory goes back to 1982, when I visited his house at chennai, during my early period at kalpakkam, before that it was a thin shadow of memory of Namakkal during Jayanthi's marriage I hope, not so clear. During my visit I could see the clarity in his vision and his advises to me to study further helped me a lot . I thank the departed soul for the same. His advise has taken me through a long winding tough road of life but given me the fruits as well.I here by convey mine and my wife sathya's condolences to one and all

#12 Hari mama - a wise man who was always practical / TS Ravi (Nephew)Srikanth Hari 2016-08-02 09:46
Hari mama - as I called him - was a wonderful man who gave us many unforgettable memories. He was unique and even in his youthful days he held "free market" views. As someone who kept himself up to date on world matters, he would discuss topics ranging from economics and jobs to politics and society. Every discussion with him made me a bit wiser as I learnt a point or two from it. My association with him spanned for at least five decades starting with our visit to Jamshedpur where he worked soon after his graduation to my most recent interaction at his T Nagar house in Jan 2015.

He may have passed away but his memories will live forever.

#11 Fond memories! / Revathi (niece)Srikanth Hari 2016-08-02 09:45
I called Hari mama. His favorite phrase was "chaltha hai". I remember the trip I took to OOTY with Hari mama, Athai, Srikanth, and Vanitha. The fun time I had with them when I visited Bombay with my parents. Mama and athai represented my late parents during every single function that took place in our family. I am going to miss him very much!

- the airplanes which he lovingly gave us when I was about 6. So thoughtful... - remember his sudden surprising wits - remember his stay at my house in Bangalore....en joyed the time...glad that happened - remember the way he cherished my simple cooked maggi.... glad he liked it - remember his simplicity to prefer walking over a ride, bus over an auto....had told him so many times to just take a taxi.... - My father has shared stories about your contribution to his education....th anks - might be a simple word to convey So many things to share.... Sorry we couldn't make it to Chennai to send you off...only if we had known... RIP Dhodappa

#6 Sekar's Message / Chandrasekaran N. K. (Family Friend )Srikanth Hari 2016-08-02 09:42
Being the neighbor of NarayanRao mama at Namakkal, I had many occasions of seeing Hari as we used to call him irrespective of our age and playing as a child and discussing medical issues later on as a doctor and our last meeting was at Raju's residence in Coimbatore where he came for a "Seemandham" function. Hari was very close to by brother Bhaskar and another brother Ramachandran who met him before his departure to Canada in Chennai. I have no words to describe his loss. May his soul RIP! Convey our condolences to your mom. Take care! May enough strength be there with all of you to bear this loss!

#5 Caring thoughts / Eileen Prasad (sister-in-law)Srikanth Hari 2016-08-02 09:41
Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am to hear of Hari’s passing. My prayers, thoughts, and heartfelt sorrow go out to you and your family during this very difficult time. Parimala feels like a sister to me, so when she hurts, I hurt also. She is never alone in that way. Hari will always be with us in our hearts and beautiful memories. My favorite memories are not just going places; but when we sat out back in the evenings and shared our thoughts. Hari is very wise and very interesting. We would often engage in philosophical discussions. He helped me think in new and different directions. I could never tire of talking to him because he has such a significant knowledge base. I pray you find strength in knowing how much Hari loved his family. It was evident in his words and actions. It is also easy to see and feel how much Hari is loved. Hari’s laughter and smile is embedded in my heart. Our love and heart reach out to you in hopes that you know you are not alone and that we care about you very much! Eileen/sister-i n-law

I am truly so sorry to hear about the loss loved one of your father Hari. Frankly i haven't met him in person. I've always wanted to meet him one day. I heard a lot of wonderful things about her daddy. Vanita and her brother are very blessed to have the truly amazing dad like him. One's heart always pains for the loss of a loved one. I know how you truly felt. Im here if you need a tap on. I went through the grief of losing my best friend and few close friends that passed away within 2 years now. I am sure your dad would have passed being so proud of both of you too. I am thinking of you in this difficult time. Truly sending you hugs and much love from Atlanta.
