Elizabeth, I work at prov pt in pittsburgh. Your father is one of the most amazing human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I took my lunch break with him every day and visited on days off. His sense of humor, wealth of knowledge, and huge heart never cease to amaze me. I miss him daily. Love and good thoughts, emily
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. My parents and his parents were the best of friends starting with Jack and my Dad living in the same boarding house in Washington, DC while they went to technical school. Your dad was named Glenn for my father. Both Jack and Betty were at my mother's graduation from nursing school in 1936.
Elizabeth , I just found out about your father. I was deeply sadden since I had a wonderful friendship and relationship with your Dad over many years.I still remember your visit to our home in Conn. and our trip to the NBA Hall of Fame. Besides his superior intellect he had a great sense of humor that we shared over many years.I'm going to miss him greatly. Andy Barovich
Members of your Dad's Foreign Service entering class of June 1960 send their heartfelt condolences. We belatedly learned of the loss of our colleague and dear friend but jack Boyle and I have circulated your eloquent and moving tribute to our surviving classmates, including Doug Ramsey in Nevada, Don Petterson in New Hampshire, Robin Delabarre and Paul Storing in Virginia, Bob Grey and Tom Greene in Maryland, George Rueckert in Wisconsin, Mark Lissfelt in Massachusetts.
We join in celebrating Glenn's service to his country and life well lived. Your memorial captured a sense of his great good humor, enormous vitality, boundless curiosity, and the love he inspired. We were privileged to know Glenn; his life enriched us all. On behalf of his Foreign Service mates, Jack Boyle & Jerome Hoganson
Elizabeth, that was a beautiful tribute to your dad and I am now in tears. Although I only had the pleasure of meeting him on a handful of occasions, you know he was an instant hit with me and I can see why you loved him so. You are in my thoughts. XOXO Peggy
Elizabeth, I am very sorry for your loss. This is a beautiful memorial for your father and I am sure he is so proud of what you did. The memories you have will always stay with you and now you can share those with your boys. I am happy that I had the opportuity to meet your dad on two occasions, and both were around the Christmas holiday. I wish you peace. Love, Tami
