George David Brown passed peacefully on September 13th and was surrounded by family who loved him at his time of departure. George was married to his wife Gloria for more than 60 years and he loved her very much. Gloria passed in January 2019 and it is hoped that the Alzheimer disease that George suffered from might have sheltered him from the sorrow of the loss of Gloria. A potential silver-lining of this horrible disease. George liked hunting, fishing, gardening (farming) and just being with friends and family. He wore a suite and tie to work every day at his job with the State of Idaho, but his hart was in the earth, growing vegetables and raising of cattle. When he would get home from work he would change into blue-jeans and go out to his garden and/or pasture. …one of his happy places. He would spend hours sometime just staring at it all. He also like sports, such as softball & volleyball. If you saw him bowling you would not easily forget his unique style. He was bit competitive at bocce-ball, horseshoes, and darts. Other great passions included traveling and he and Gloria made several trips to Hawaii and the Bahamas, which affected his music choices dramatically. He left us all with many memories and good times. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
