My mother is my hero. She was always Generous, loving, faithful, loyal, funny, modest. And humble. overall a beautiful spirit.

she'd light up the room with laughter and love. You could never be sad or down around her because she always knew just what to say to make you laugh or smile.

Mom didn't have the best of life but she always made sure she'd make every day the best, not only for herself for everyone around her by greeting them with a smile and letting them know they mattered and their loved even while she was in the worst of pain.

Mom wasn't rich with wealth but she was absolutely rich with love and she always shared her love with everyone, never selfish.

From a young age mom began her journey to share her love with the world and did her best to protect everyone.

Even giving the last of what she had in her pocket to anyone in need knowing she wouldn't be able to eat that day or knowing she'd be in the worst of pain all day.

The love god put in her heart definitely lead her to be the most incredible woman she was.

Her heroicness was unmeasured and I am so proud to have had the honor to be a part of such an amazing Mother. My mother was a true definition of an obedient servant of god. My mother is my best friend, even though she's no longer here physically with us I know we can talk to her spiritually and she's right there watching over us and always available to listen just as she was in life.

Now we carry her torch and honor her legacy by sharing our love and kindness with everyone. Just as mom has and just as she wanted us to.

Upon Moms request to fufill her last wishes she has asked me to read this prayer please join me and repeat after me

Father God. I come to you as a repented sinner. Asking you to forgive and cleanse me of all my transgressions. I'm requesting your unrestricted gift of éternal life. I believe in your death and resurrection, and i'd like you to show me, I'm genuinley saved.
I thank you,  Jesus Christ of Nazareth, for rescuing me! Amen!

I Wanted to say a few words today as we celebrate my mother's life. She was my hero. And my inspiration. She was the true meaning of what a fighter is. She fought for 20 long years. Yes there was times that she wanted to give up. But she held on tight to her faith and hope. She thought me how to hold on to hope, to have faith and how to love. She had such a big heart. Even though she was fighting everyday it never stop her to put a smile on someone else face. She was my bestfriend and my mom. She was not only an inspiration to me. But to my siblings and there families and her grandchildren. I remember when I told mom that she was going to be a grandma for the first time. We was going to her doctor's appointment to check her kidneys. When I told her she said I'm in shock and surprised. By the time we  got to the doctors office her blood pressure was so high. She told the doctor ofcourse it is, my daughter just told me she's pregnant. She was so nervous when I went into labor. That she was getting pain in her stomach. She thought it was sympathy pains and eneded up in the ER and I was upstairs giving birth. I was hemorrhaging and they couldn't stop the bleeding. She told the doctors I need to go to my daughter now. She ended up missing the birth of her first grandchild James. But was blessed that we all made it through. But when I had my second child Trevor, she was there all day and night. She made sure that she made it to be there with me. A big heart she had. The biggest heart. I guess she over worked her heart with all the love she gave and that's why we are blessed to be here today to celebrate her memory and her life full of love. For those of you who wasn't able to make it she knows your here in spirit and love. I know she has touch everyone in such a way that we are here celebrating my mother Evelyn Lopez Soto. Your now with your father mom and we all gained a beautiful angel to watch over us. You don't have to fight anymore and be in pain.
I love you so much mom and I will always hold you in my heart. Till we see each other again.
