I went to Las Vegas on an EMS convention. I don't remember the year. However we met Brenda and her boyfriend for dinner. Brenda was very happy and eager to show us around Las Vegas. I could tell that this is where she wanted to be. Brenda was so sweet and full of smiles. It was a very nice visit. Brenda you are loved and remembered.

It is with tremendous sadness that I express to you that my little sister, Brenda, passed away April 30, 2020. She was a beautiful, intelligent woman, who lived her life her way. She was my first friend, she knew me better than anyone, and she was never afraid to speak her mind, which I valued more than she knew. She had a logic and intuition that was second to none and she was exceedingly kind to those around her. While she was extremely introverted (at least until she got to know you), she had a quiet strength and was incredibly determined (sometimes mistaken as extreme stubbornness).
As her older brother, I did my best to teach her things, but she taught me as much as I taught her. She was an avid dancer, loved to water ski, loved to read, and she loved to laugh. I have so many good memories of her that I cannot possibly name them all here. Like the time she was terrified of Santa with me silently, but intently, letting her know that you do not mess with this guy; he gives us cool stuff…be cool, be cool! I also had the distinct honor of dancing with her in one of her shows. And that is just one of many little moments in time that have left an indelible mark on my heart. I taught her how to tie her shoes, how to sass mom and dad, how to be ornery, how to use a pogo stick, and how to make snow forts. I like to think that I was a good influence on her, but let’s face it, we all know that isn’t true.
I, as so many others, will miss her dearly and will have a permanent hole in my heart from this loss of life at such a young age; she was only 44. Rest in peace Brenda. You inspired me to be a better person and I am honored to call you my sister. May the Lord keep and bless your soul. We love you very much. You are and will always be loved by so many!
