It is with great regret that we say goodbye to Sherry Altice Chenoweth, a great person. She passed away unexpectedly on September 4th, 2012 from health complications. Sherry will certainly be missed but never forgotten. She was a great Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend to all! She was born in West Virginia but, spent her adolescent years growing up in Kentucky. Later she married Tunie "Nim" Chenoweth Jr. and for over 30 years they lived happily in Florida. Sherry spent much of her time surrounded by her many great friends and family.
One of Sherry's great passions in life was as a devote RedHead, the official fan club of The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar. Her devotion to the club was unparalleled. Her travel arrangements to go to Cabo this coming October were already made and she was looking forward to it more than anything. Unfortunately, her dream of sharing that great time with her friends will not be fulfilled but she will certainly be there in sprit! Anybody that knew Sherry, knows she wouldn't miss it for anything.
The family is auctioning her autographed Sammy Hagar Denim Jacket in the hopes than another fan will receive years of enjoyment out of it. The jacket is a blue jean, Levis jacket in a frame, signed by Sammy Hagar (The Red Rocker) and the band. The proceeds will be used to pay for the unexpected expenses related to Sherry's funeral arrangements. The jacket will be sold to the highest bidder. More information and pictures of the Jacket will be posted soon on this site.
Otherwise, If you would like to send a condolence or make a contribution to help Sherry's family pay for her funeral arrangements, please send checks to Tunie Chenoweth 5295 89th Ter. N. Pinellas Park FL, 33782.
