Light a Candle
Alice “Sally” Gordon, age 82, passed of intestinal complications on May 26th, 2015, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, surrounded by her children. Sally is survived by her sons, John (Cherise) Gordon, of San Luis Obispo, CA and Grant Gordon, of Colorado Springs, CO; and her daughter, Laura Gordon, of Medford, OR, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her cat, Rascal. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest Gordon. Sally was born on June 5th, 1932 in Hastings, MI, to parents Asa Randall and Ruby (Shattuck) Randall. She graduated from Hastings High School, then married Ernie in August of 1949. The couple relocated in 1959 to California where they adopted 3 children together. Sally was a social, active woman who loved to travel. Her family and friends will always remember her for her love of animals and her outgoing personality. Sally and Ernie’s ashes were spread together in a private family ceremony by the Colorado River so they can continue to travel together.
