My grandma was the best that there was. She raised me from the time I was 13 yrs. old until I became an adult. She taught me so much, and about everything. Most importantly she loved me unconditionaly. She was always my biggest fan, even when I was not always in the right. She taught me how to be a lady, a good mother, and a listener. From an early age she taught me the importance of loving God and having a one on one relationship with him. She surrounds me everyday, even though it will be 2 years since she left to be with the lord. She inspires me even to this day, to be the best that I can be, and to always do the right thing, and help those who can't help themselves. Since her passing, I have dedicated the rest of my life to being an advocate for the elderly, mainly focusing on bringing a global awareness to "Stop Elder Abuse & Neglect". It still is very hard for me, for I feel a loss that can never be replaced & I cry often wishing I could do it all over again, and the things I would do differently. But I know my grandmother loves me and is so proud of the woman I have become. "Grandma, please wait by those pearly gates for me when my time is through here on earth, for it will be you I am searching for."
