Light a Candle
Patrick Gorman Danley, 58, of Vestavia Hills, AL, passed away on July 02, 2022. He was born on October 9, 1963, in Ozark, AL and was raised by adoring parents Dr. and Mrs. Rhett G. Danley, Jr. in Decatur, AL. Patrick attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN, and Birmingham Southern College in AL. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Sandtown Hunting Club. He will be forever remembered as a doting father, admired co-worker, and loyal lifelong friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Julie Danley and daughter Blythe Danley of Vestavia Hills, AL; cousin Kim Engle (Mark) of Hilton Head Island, SC; niece Madison Dowler (Cody) of Chattanooga, TN; nephews Max Brown of Memphis, TN, and Tucker Boos of Ashburn, VA; and in-laws, extended family and friends from around the world. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and beloved daughter Devyn Danley. A public memorial service honoring Patrick's memory is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 at his childhood church Westminster Presbyterian in Decatur, AL.
