Michael Joris Mueller (Age 54)

Mike was born April 20, 1958 to R. Joris and Marilynne L. Mueller, and passed away peacefully in Chelan, WA, February 2, 2013 after a long 3 year battle with cancer.  Growing up in Spokane, he graduated from Joel E.Ferris High School in 1976.  Graduated from Washington State University with a BA of Science in 1980 and studied immunology in graduate school.  He went on to become a Surgical Physician's Assistant (PA) in Ohio and had a long career as a PA working at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint,MI, Everett Clinic and the Wenatchee Valley Clinics in Washington.

Mike was very active in his high school music program, ultimately becoming the drum major. He was a member of Percussion-naut Patriots and the Renaissance Drum & Bugle Corps in Spokane.  He was compassionate and caring both of people and the environment, enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, lover of animals, and loved to work with his hands fixing or making most anything.

Mike is survived by his wife, Gail, whom he married in 1982, his parents R. Joris & Marilynne, and grandmother, Lorelei Sowers, both of Spokane, one sister, Lorelei Sater of California, and nieces & nephews.

A celebration of his life will be a potluck gathering at the
Community Building, 35 West Main,Spokane, on
Saturday, February 9, 2013, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

He will forever be in our hearts.
