Light a Candle
Michael R. Jungden, aged 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was born on June 7, 1948 in New Haven, CT to Genevieve and Ernest Jungden. Michael graduated from West Haven High School in 1966 and Southern CT State University in 1970. He began managing the Mansfield Drive-in Theatre in 1974 and started the flea market in 1975. They were his passion for over 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Janet, daughters, Naomi and Elena, sisters Jane Jungden and Sue Ganzberg, and brother Ernest Jungden. He is predeceased by his brother Peter. He visited Ernie in Hawaii frequently and had many friends there and a special love for the islands. He enjoyed antique cars and loved traveling to many corners of the world with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
