Light a Candle
Kathleen Marion Judy, age 58, died Friday, January 4, 2013 at her home in Manchester, NH of natural causes. She was born October 9, 1954 in Medford, MA, the daughter of Jady C. and Mary Elizabeth (Neary) Judy.
She grew up in West Medford, MA and New Boston, NH and graduated from Goffstown High School in 1972. After high school she attended the University of Dublin in Ireland. She also attended Plymouth College in NH where she studied philosophy and English. She held several office positions with a variety of duties. Kathy married Alan Wright on October 13, 1995 and was happily married for 8 years.
Kathy enjoyed being outdoors, especially near the ocean and in the woods camping. She laughed often and loved to tell jokes and stories. She played the guitar and the tin whistle and loved Celtic music. She also wrote poetry, painted and was very artistic.
Kathy is survived by her two loving sisters, Marybeth Judy, Blue Hill, ME, and Deborah Judy, York Beach, ME and her brothers, Kevin Judy, Boynton Beach, FL, Robert Judy, Milford, NH and Richard Judy, York Beach, ME. She will be dearly missed by her sisters and her family including her three nieces. Her creative, loving spirit will always be remembered and cherished. "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable."
