Light a Candle
James A. G. Wiggins III, age 78, passed away at his home on April 28, 2022, in Edgewater Beach, IL. He was born on April 18, 1944, in Chicago, IL. James was very creative at a young age and would often invent games and rides that his family and fellow peers eagerly anticipated. He enjoyed reading and listening to musical scores of movies as a teen and embarked on his intellectual pursuits at that time. As a young man, James chose to remain living in Chicago after his family moved to California in 1968. His heart belonged to Chicago, and he loved living near the lake. James was a devout Buddhist, novelist, newspaper editor and educator. He taught English at Truman College and he enjoyed writing, mentoring and teaching. James is survived by three siblings Georgeann, Jean and Saundra and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother Daisy and father James II. James will be remembered for his humorous wit, positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind heart that made a great and lasting impression on all who knew him.
