Light a Candle
My father passed away at 54 years old from a 2 year battle with heart disease. He lived a great life and never held back. He was a great mechanic for 20 years, he LOVED hunting, fishing, creating things, bbqing and spending time with his entire family. My father was also a very wise man who seemed to always know everything and anything you asked him.
I beleive in the last two years he struggled with 2 open heart surgeries but yet he always remained positive and with a smile. If anything I have learned to try and not sweat the small stuff because there is always someone going through something worse and through those tough years he still was happy and lived like nothing was wrong....so I beleive you should live like there is no tomorow and make sure everyone knows how much you care and be the person you want to be and not what others think because this is your life and you need to make yourself happy.
I am happy to have learned all the things he has tought me because he made me feel prepared for the world and anything it throws at me. I know my mom and sister would feel the same way, he loved them so much with his whole heart and I hope they know that!
He was a great father, husband, brother and uncle and I miss him dearly everyday!!!
