She had a passion for her small backyard farm where she raised two goats, chickens and loved fresh eggs. She had a green thumb and loved her many potted plants. She loved camping, kayaking, fishing, and traveling in her RV with her husband and dogs. Cathy is remembered for being selfless, caring, and resilient, with a bit of sass. A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of our Savior in Orcutt on September 6th at 11:00am, followed by a graveside service at the Santa Maria Cemetery. A celebration of life lunch will follow at the Smith Family Barn.
