Light a Candle
Our dear Kuya Arvin fought the good fight, and at around 11 am, the 1st of March 2021, he laid down his armor so that he may rest in the arms of our Creator. He was 41 years old. He is survived by his parents Amador and Virginia, his wife Grace, his son Zacky, and his ‘sisters’ Celine and Alexis, as well as the many family members and friends who love him. Almost a year ago, as the COVID-19 pandemic began, Kuya Arvin was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. Treatments were initiated immediately and continued throughout 2020. As recent as two weeks ago, his sense of balance and muscle strength began to falter. While family fought alongside him and ensured the best possible care, his body succumbed to cardiogenic shock in the hospital that morning. We are grateful for the years he spent with us, albeit short. Having been graced by his presence, wit, humor, quiet strength, incredible singing voice, and rare but rewarding smiles, even just for a time, that is enough. Till we see each other again, rest in love, Kuya Arv!❤️
