Light a Candle
Alverna P Hobson, 71, of Bellevue WA, passed away unexpectedly on October 28th, 2021 due to a heart attack. She was preceded in death by her mother Ida Hobson, and 4 older brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Brown) Wiswall, son in law Scott Wiswall, granddaughter, Isabella, a younger brother Albert Hobson, along with numerous nieces & nephews. Alverna attended Queen Anne High School in Seattle and spent her adult life in Bellevue, WA. Alverna worked for Seafirst Bank (now Bank of America) for most of her career. Many know Alverna from her fun job at Packaging Specialties in Bellevue. After she retired, she volunteered on occasion for Hopelink in Bellevue. Her favorite all time position was being Nana to her granddaughter Isabella. Out of consideration for our elderly and immuncompromised family and friends, we have chosen at this time to forego a public memorial.
