Jody Ann Gillund (63) passed away on July 29th, 2021.
Jody was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 12, 1958,
and graduated from Tulare High School in Visalia, CA.
Jody last resided in Park Forest, IL.
Jody was homemaker, a caretaker, and devoted
animal rescuer. Jody had a special love for animals.
Anyone who knew her would describe her as, a mover
and a shaker, a spitfire, creative, feisty, extremely
intelligent, and unbelievably resilient.
If Jody wanted to build something, move something,
throw bales of hay, she would always figure out a way
to get it done. Jody was known to keep a spotless house,
and for her generosity. She enjoyed working outside in her
garden or in the horse barn.
She is survived by her Life Partner of 26 years,
Frank Cleveland of Park Forest, IL., Daughter,
Farrah Manthei, Chicago, IL., Father Herman Manthei,
Texarkana, AR...
Siblings and Spouses; Karen and Louie Luisi, Jeri and
Barry Worden, and her brother Gary Manthei.
Jody’s nieces and nephews include Amanda and
Nick Figallo, Amy Luisi, Terry and Heather and
Worden, Michael and Brooke Worden, Richie Worden,
Niki and Max Gerdes, Dylan and Kaylee Damiani and
her beloved Pitbull Haley and cats Ruthie and Lily.
We will miss her laugh, love and friendship.
