Gary Sparks, 57, of Albuquerque went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 18, 2017. His loving and devoted wife Carolyn was by his side when he passed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Harvest Fellowship Church 5331 Montaño Road, Albuquerque New Mexico at 11am. The service will be officiated by Rev. Philip Bransford.
Gary Sparks was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 14, 1960. Gary attended school in Indiana, graduating from Warren Central High School in 1978 followed by two years at Indiana University
Gary married the love of his life Carolyn on November 7, 1987. Together they loved traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with their three dogs. Gary was especially generous with his time, talents and resources.
Gary is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years Carolyn Sparks, his daughter Jessica Campbell and her husband Mike, Grandchildren Caydence and Clark, brother Danny and his wife Romey, sister Susan Nichols and her husband John, niece Michelle Padilla and her husband Isaac, and Nephew Daniel Sparks and his longtime girlfriend Megan.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Ritsuko Sparks.
As many know, Gary fought an incredible battle over the last five years. He was a pillar of strength and encouragement to the very end.
