I have had the pleasure to have worked with Bud on the Memorial Wall project. He was one of the most caring and forthright people the world has lost. His dedication to helping and honoring military veterans went well beyond his tireless efforts to make and maintain the memorial wall.
The Sierra Madre community has lost a defender of the American way of life we have sorely missed. Bud lived with dignity, self-sacrifice, integrity, and human decency and compassion.
We love you so much! You are a true gentleman. I snuck up to top part of trail today. You would loved the view up there today. Say HEY, to everyone for us. We miss you all.
