If tears could build a stairway and work memory lane. We would walk right up to heaven.
Mama, no farewell words were ever spoken to you by us and no time to say goodbye.
Our heart aches in sadness but God knows the best as we wish you goodbye. We know that if it were possible for you,you would still want to hang on to your children and us.
We believe that your peaceful soul is already resting in the bosom of the Almighty.
Adieu, Mama
Farewell, our dearly Landlady.
Until we meet to part no more.
from your Tenants,
Mr Sunday Okeke and Mr Promise Achugamonye

Iya as she was popularly known, accepted and treated me like a daughter from the first time I was introduced to her as Sade's friend, She would later extend the same warmth to all my siblings. She was an active and vivacious person, full of life and always a lot of fun to be around. She was outspoken, forthright and full of candor. She expressed her opinion irrespective of the situation. I still remember one incident at a wedding where Sade got on the dance floor and to my surprise proceeded to display some amazing dance steps. This was shocking as I had only ever seen her dance during praise worship sessions. Observing the look on my face, Iya said to me "don't be surprised that's my daughter"!
I regret that I did not visit her as I planned before she passed on. That serves as a painful reminder that procrastination is indeed the thief of time. I will however retain the very many pleasant memories I have of her.
Iya, may the Lord grant you eternal rest. To my dear friend Sade and her siblings, Please be comforted by the fact that she lived a good life and is resting peacefully.
