In my childhood memories, Bill and Edna Kreger were the welcoming heads of a boisterous, active family. As a friend of Kathy from Kindergarten through high school, I spent untold hours playing monody and drinking Cokes in their knotty pine Rec Room. Mrs. Kreger sometimes drove us to our Rec Dept softball games (I especially remember a jazzy bright Plymouth with fins!). Mr. Kreger served for decades as an usher and faithful member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, where he always greeted me. My condolences go out to the whole family and to my hometown as well.
