I met Karen in 1987, when I relocated from Texas to Kansas as her secretary for United Telephone. As the years passed, she became more than just my supervisor, but my very dear friend whom I admired and greatly appreciated. She had a smile that could brighten up any room and keen wit that could break any silence. We shared many good times that will forever remain in my heart. She was a beautiful, phenomenal woman who made a huge impact in my life and the lives of my family. Thank you, Karen, for the precious memories. You will be missed, my friend, but never forgotten.
With Sprint, Karen exhibited the courage, creativity, and conviction to stay-the-course and build the University of Excellence. We who worked in the University know the impact of her leadership. Thank you, Karen. You will be missed!
