Judy was so special. She was the most loving, caring, kindest, generous, sincere person we knew. We had fun almost every Friday night trying different resturants. We miss her so much and will continue to miss her in our life. Cecile and Harry

My Mom Judy!!!
Made me who I am today. The strongest woman I know. Judy loved people more than anybody and lived life to its fullest. Just yesterday someone told me, "Judy was the most alive and loving soul I ever have experienced being with."
My mom just wanted to make you feel good whether it be a compliment she would give you or be happy to cook for you. Judy truly enjoyed cooking and it had a magical quality, like she wanted to feed your soul.
Judy wanted to hear your story because everyone had something special inside them and she genuinely enjoyed your company.
She struggled at different times of her life but always persevered. I see this strong spirit in me and I am grateful for its privilege. I know I can make it through any challenge because of my mother, which I've learned at this age is a gift.
My aunt said one of the worst things is for a daughter to bury her mother. "When you lose your mother it's like a piece of you goes with her." I have to agree. Some of you may not know but my mother almost died giving birth to me. Instead of her water breaking, she had the after birth first and was losing blood, not water. By the time she got to the hospital, doctors told my dad and my Nana that there was no hope for the baby (they couldn't find my heart beat) and they would try to save my mom's life. Judy had 7 blood transfusions and pulled through because she is amazing and ever so determined.
My mother somehow kept me alive, safe, and this was nothing short of a miracle. This bonded us for life and I will never forget her. Just how special Judy is and the difference she made while she was here.
I have faith my mother is in great hands right now. Jesus is holding her in heaven in the eternal resting place. I can pray with her every day now. My mother planted my seed, laid the foundation and now she can continue to watch me grow from heaven.
I admire the way she spoke to people, from the bag boy at Publix (I just watched her 2 weeks ago) to the cashier, she made that extra effort to read her name badge and exchange a kindhearted moment or two like, "you have a wonderful day." Judy's attention to detail to make that person feel important, noticed, appreciated, even when she was exhausted. I just don't see that too much these days. It's one of the things I realized she bestowed upon me and I am so proud of how I treat everyone as my equal and with kindness.
Her gift of giving to others is a treasured quality. My mother is considerate, compassionate, affectionate, charitable, and gracious.
Judy struggled with her parents and a broken childhood. Somehow, I think some of her family made her feel unworthy of being loved. My mother was devoted to making me feel so truly loved and special, which has molded me into a confident, kind, strong, caring, loving woman. So I stand here in front of all of you, realizing just how proud I am to be this woman she helped to make. She succeeded in making sure that I never felt unworthy of being loved.
My mother worked so hard, determined to leave us some money or to leave us something. I think society made her feel less than if she didn’t. Unfortunately for my mom, my brother and I could care less about any money. Nothing monetary will keep me warm at night or heal my broken heart from the emptiness I feel from losing her. What she gave us is priceless: never ending love, kindness, hospitality, loyalty, determination, respect, generosity.
So if there is anything you need from me or my mommy, you just let me know, because we will figure out a way to help you out.
The only thing I ask of all of you here tonight is to help me capture all the amazing stories, great memories, and events that involved Judy. I know my mother made her mark in our lives and in your hearts. The stories you have for me and my children may be funny, silly, touching, dramatic and even small to you, however this is a treasure for me and my children. I kindly ask you to log on to the Miami Herald Obituaries “Legacy.com- View Guest Book” or “Remember.com” through Facebook and send us your story. Please make that effort to warm my heart and the hearts of her grandchildren. In time, this will help to mend our broken hearts.
Mommy, I will love you always, I will never forget you and I will treasure our time together. It was a miracle from the moment I was born!!!!
With Love Always, Your Daughter, Cindy
