Memorial Biography

Thomas J. Heinsinger Jr, 58, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed suddenly on April 16th 2019 at 12:37pm at Advent Health-Waterman Hospital with his loving wife and children by his side. Thomas was born to Thomas Heinsinger Sr. and Veronica Rose [Bolli] & Thomas Bolli [StepFather], October 6th 1960, in City Of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Mastbaum Vocational-Tech School in Philadelphia Pa. He married Donna Ortlip on June 19th 1982, and they lived together in the Philadelphia area until 2016, then moved to Lady Lake Florida until present date. Together they raised 4 children. He leaves as his legacy 4 children: Thomas J. Heinsinger III, Michael R. Heinsinger and wife Kayla Heinsinger, Joseph K. Heinsinger and Jessica Heinsinger with fiancé Chris Turner and 9 grandchildren. Also leaves to cherish his memory of his siblings Patricia, Stephen, Theresa, Veronica, Judy, Kim and Audrey. His children remember him as a fun loving dad and all around funny and caring person who would help anyone he could without looking for something in return. He was preceded in death by Audrey Heinsinger, (Sister), Dixie, (His best friend and family pet Jack Russel Terrier). Thomas was a Copy Machine & Printer Repairman and Recreational Pilot until he retired in 2012 and was passionate about being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He founded Rapid Copier Service his Copy Machine Repair Business in 1991 and was highly regarded by fellow colleagues in his work industry. Thomas completed and received his Private Pilots License from Hortman Aviation in North East Philadelphia on 10/27/98. He was very big in to family vacation camping and amusement park Knobels Groves in Elysburg, Pa with his entire family including many brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. Thru the years he maintained a special bond with his best friend Michael Smalla of Philadelphia Pa. Michael and Tom were always there for one another and also flew private airplanes together as Michael was also his flight instructor. Thomas will be terribly missed by many weeping hearts, however he will be with each and every one of us in our own special way. Whether it’s an animal that randomly shows up, something somebody says or a specific scent. Thomas fought long and hard in the last few months of his life, but God decided to call his son home to rest his body and be with the many other family and friends that have already left to be with the Lord. He no longer suffers, nor feels the daily pain or fatigue of fighting, and will watch down for eternity from his new home in Heaven. A viewing and memorial service is scheduled for April 28th 2019, 2pm-3pm Viewing and 3pm-4pm Memorial Services at Beyer’s Funeral Home 134 US-441, Lady Lake, FL 32159. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Diabetes Association at Donations.Diabetes.Org The family would also like to thank Advent-Health (Waterman Hospital I.C.U. Nurses and staff that took care of and attempted to save Thomas’ life. The many friends and family on Facebook who sent their thoughts and prayers to Thomas and family and to those who helped by donating to the families GoFundMe page after his leg amputation surgeries to get the things he needed to come home and be safe and comfortable….
