Light a Candle
Muhammd Salameh was born in Lebanon shortly after Lebanon was freed under Ottoman rule. He grew up in the mountainous country side of the small village of "Dwayr". He saw Lebanon gain independance during his childhood. He recalled his excitement when he first saw his first automobile. He married in his late teens to Khadija whom he had 7 children with. Samia, Sami, Ali, Adnan, Ismael, Nadia, and Imad. Sadly his wife died in 1990 from cancer and his eldest son Sami passed in 2005 from cancer as well. He spent his later years surrounded by his family and tending to his garden. He passed away in his sleep surrounded by his family.
