Burt, Mabel F., 98, widow of Roland W. Burt, Sr., died Tuesday , Aug. 28'th.  Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Crossland) Collins.  Mrs. Burt had worked at B.A. Ballou Jewelry Co., East Providence, retiring in 1975.  She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, East Providence.  She also was a member of the Naomi Chapter #8, O.E.S., the Rehoboth Senior Citizens and the A.A.R.P.  She leaves a daughter, Joan A. Grant and a son Roland W. Burt, Jr., 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by siblings; Charles, Albert, Norman and Henry Collins and a sister Margaret Sweet.  Her funeral will be held on  Saturday, Sept. 1'st, at  10AM from the home of J.H. WILLIAMS & CO., 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence, with a Requiem Mass at 11 AM in St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Warren Ave., East Providence.  Burial will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Bristol.
