Light a Candle
Kevin M. Mills, a resident of Gurnee, IL, passed away March 1, 2022, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Round Lake Beach, IL. He was born January 6, 1961, in New Hartford, New York to Norman and Gayle Mills. Kevin was known by many as a sweet man that enjoyed sharing memories with his five siblings. Kevin loved to laugh, and many times made the people close to him laugh right along. On a family trip to Florida in 2020, Kevin once again surprised his siblings with his dancing skills on a pirate ship making it a memorable time with him. Kevin had a love for photography and art. His two favorite subjects in both passions were nature and his beloved cat Blue. Kevin was always closely involved with his family and will be truly missed by all that had known him. Kevin is survived by his siblings, Brenda (Mike) Gaffney, Terry (Eleni) Mills, Rene’ (Clayton) Holland), Brad (Sylwia) Mills, Sheree (Isidro) Alvarez, Evie (Pat) Brill and his nieces Brittany (Farris)Pierson, Sophie Holland, Alexia Papagiannis, and Hannah Alvarez and nephews Zachary Mills, Matthew Mills, Seth Holland, Christopher Alvarez. A memorial will be held at Village Church, 1319 Hunt Club Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031 on May 6th, 2022, at 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
