Light a Candle
Kelvin “Katt” Rodgers passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was just 44. Kelvin was born on July 28,1977 in Birmingham. He attended the University of Florida. An enthusiastic traveler, before graduating from college Kelvin took a gap year after he graduated and backpacked from Florida to Birmingham to be with his family. He began working in the hospitality industry. In 2012 Kelvin married Rukayya Grace Rodgers, his high school sweetheart. The following year they welcomed daughter Alexandria Rodgers. Chris was excited for Alex to join him and Kia for a lifetime of adventures. He never stopped planning the adventures they could all have together. In addition to Emily and Rosaline, Chris is survived by his father and mother, Walter Allen Bradley and Kimberly Yvonne Bradley, as well as his sister Sarah Elizabeth Bradley. He was predeceased by his brother, Jason Joseph Bradley. The funeral service will be at Usrey Brown Funeral Home,516 North St E , Talladega, Alabama , on Friday, Feb.11 2022, at 2 pm.
