Light a Candle
Jerald “Jerry” Grabowski, of Chicago, IL, transitioned in spirit, on 11/22/2019, to a place much better than this. He’s awaited by his son, Colt, and other family and friends. He is survived by his partner Denny and his children, Shannon, Marissa, Lisa, and Jake, and 8 grandkids. He’ll probably be busy haunting Jim Grabowski, now, or playing a long game of parcheesi while drinking a beer. He was known for many things, but his ability to make you laugh was a true gift. He didn’t take life too seriously and was the man to share a smile with. He lived through some pretty hard moments, but also some incredibly beautiful moments, too. A charismatic man, on his own path, learning exactly what he needed in this life. He is missed and deeply loved, and forever will be. There will not be a service, because he didn’t enjoy you schmucks staring at him even when he was alive, but if you’d like, please share a toast, and a smile, in honor of him.
