"Age 89 of Brighton, MI passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI. He was born April 16, 1922 in Toledo, OH a son of Charles and Lucy (Windsor) Williams. On May 25, 2001 he was married to Diane Ostrowski. Earl loved God, people, music, teaching piano, flowers, gardening, nature and sports. Earl was known as the "piano man" since he played professionally for 30 years at the Canopy restaurant in Brighton. He also played for many years for the Howell Chamber of Commerce. Earl served in the Navy stationed at Mare Island Ship Yards in Vallejo, CA. Surviving Earl is his wife Diane Ostrowski; brother Robert (Ann) Williams; his daughter Carol (Louis) Jensen; grandchildren Jeff, Mike, Tim, Joy, Brenna, and Chandra; many great-grandchildren; brother in-law Ken Bellaire; niece Deborah (Kurt) Oldenburg and their son Alexander. Earl was preceded in death by a daughter Kristine Perry and 4 brothers. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Keehn Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Earl's name are suggested to the Livingston Seventh Day Adventist Church in Howell, MI. Envelopes are available at the funeral home."
