On the morning of March 22, 2020, Brian Alvin Cummins of Grandview, Missouri, passed away at the age of 62 years old. Brian was born to Robert Cummins & Shirley Hackathorn on February 10, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas. He met and married the love of his life, Sandra Norton in Southern California on May 31, 1986. They would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they raised 4 children, Julie, Lisa, Chris & Casey. They have a total of 9 Grandchildren ( Racheal, Bryanna, Brandon, Bryssa, Harley, Tiffany, Melanie, Ayden & Drake) and 8 Great-Grandchildren( Khristian, Kynslee, Lincoln, Easton, Malcolm, Saylor, Josephine & Wes) Brian was a selfless man and was always there to lend a helping hand. Whenever you needed something, you knew you could count on him to be there. He loved traveling to many places all over the United States and they took many vacations and moved to several different states together. Brian loved nature and being outdoors. He loved animals and owned and raised many dogs and cats. His dogs, Ruby Tuesday and Suzie Q will miss him greatly! When he was not working around their home you could find him spending time with his kids, grandkids or his dogs and just enjoying his surroundings. He loved learning about history and listening to the oldies and country music. Brian loved sharing his wealth of knowledge with anyone who would listen. He always had a story to tell you and you knew you would be there for awhile when he started talking. He just wanted to share everything with you and you felt his passion about what he was talking about just listening to him. Brian is preceded in death by his father, Robert, his mother, Shirley, and three brothers, Steven, Cameron and Martin. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, his four children, Julie (Bobby), Lisa(Jimmy), Chris, & Casey(Amanda),his 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services are pending.
